A quick note about thinning Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Color...
Our premium artist quality acrylics that can be thinned with anything you would normally use to thin your acrylic paints.  No expensive thinners or levelers are needed to get fantastic and durable finishes with Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Colors.  I personally use the Asylum Wargaming recipe for Thinner shown below , usually about two drops to 8 drops of paint.  Mostly I do this as a psychological thing I think... the Bombshell Brew Modeling Artist acrylic paints can be sprayed straight from the bottle but it all depends on your style, hardware and the effects you are looking to achieve! The Fantasy Color paints are a different formulation and will benefit from use of a thinner as they are fundamentally a more viscous formulation.

Brushing Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Color...
I get many inquiries as to the ability to brush Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Color.
I have also received a great deal of positive feedback from Modeling Artists who are impressed with how
well Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Color self-levels and easily brushes, however, as it is pre-thinned you will want to lay Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Color down in three or four thin coats.

Cleaning up after using Bombshell Brew Modeling and Gaming Artist Color...
You are free to use your normal acrylic cleaning products.  I am very serious about cleaning my airbrushes and I use a mixture of 25% Isopropyl Alcohol (91%) and 75% water and a couple of doodads added (shown below)... I will clean with that and again with just plain old blue window cleaner (the generic kind) as this is a very effective and affordable cleaning solution (pun intended)!

My new 120ml home made airbrush thinner solution recipe ;)

I recently came across a series of three YouTube videos that I must say were quite generous and very instructive regarding three important aspects of both modeling and gaming arts.  In short... Airbrush Thinner, Acrylic Retardant, and Acrylic Flow Aid.  I have tried all three of these and I am very, very impressed.  These videos were published by Lukes Aps and I will post links to all three.  I will keep my old recipes at the bottom and I still use the 200 ml Thinner recipe, albeit as a cleaning solution as I have been that impressed with the Airbrush Thinner recipe I have actually forsaken my beloved big name brand Airbrush Thinner.

Now... these two main ingredients can be purchased at Amazon for very reasonable prices.  These are Food USP Grade products and are perfectly harmless... they are Food Grade Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and Food Grade Propylene Glycol (PG)... you can get 8oz. or 16oz. bottles and that will go a very long way.  The other two ingredients are good ol' trusty Isopropyl Alcohol and Purified water.  Alternatively, you can check with a local Vape Shop and see if they would sell you a bottle of "Just" PG or VG (or both) without any coloring or Nicotine and I bet they will as these are the two largest ingredients in e-Juice.
Or if you prefer... you can also use plain old Glycerin that you can buy at most grocery stores as well.

Asylum Wargaming - 120ml home made Acrylic Retardant recipe ;)
*** Note: My version below is 1/12 strength as full strength takes a very long
time to dry which is good if you have a large area to work with but
for my purposes is way too long!

90% (108 mL) Purified Water
5% (6 mL) Vegetable Glycerin
5% (6 mL) Propylene Glycol
The cost of this 120 mL is approximately $0.17 (yes... 17 cents)

Props to Lukes Aps... check out the Acrylic Retardant YouTube video here

My "old trusty" 200 ml home made Airbrush Thinner Solution recipe ;)
120 ml of distilled or purified water
60 ml of Isopropyl Alcohol (91%)
10 ml of Winsor Newton Fluid Retarder (Local art store or Amazon)
10 ml of Winsor Newton Flow Improver (Local art store or Amazon)

NOTE: Currently I use 66% water with 34% IPA(91%) exclusively as a cleaner alternatively I will also use good ol' blue window cleaner every 2nd or 3rd cleaning as well.

*** This should come to about $0.85 for a 120ml bottle which is about 1/8th of the cost of commercially available thinner... and it is just as good in my book...
or just $0.28 if you just want a cleaner and leave out the Winsor Newton products and that is my 2 cents!
